Quick Film Grain Photoshop Actions

When you are not satisfied with a simple Add Noise... This is a pack of actions to generate Film Grain Overlays (FGO) in Adobe Photoshop without the need for any external tools. The results of the actions were based on actual film grain scans (see fig 2 & 3).

The pack contains:

• 2 actions to create grain for color images

• 2 actions to create grain for black & white images

To be used on Overlay or Soft Light blending modes. For extra control, use Blending Options to eliminate the grain from over areas with certain luminosity ranges.
